Our aims and objectives

At Caritas, our mission is to restore dignity and foster community for those most vulnerable in Guernsey. As a charity rooted in compassion, our primary goal is to eliminate homelessness and address social exclusion. We understand the profound challenges faced by those who suddenly find themselves without a home due to unforeseen circumstances—whether through job loss, separation, illness, or addiction. In a time of housing scarcity, we strive to ensure that every islander has a safe place to rebuild their lives and regain their sense of self-worth.

Organisation and management

Our organization is led by a dedicated group of Trustees who volunteer their time and bring a diverse range of skills to efficiently run the charity. While our foundation is faith based, we embrace inclusivity and work alongside individuals from all backgrounds, united by a common goal of supporting those in need.
