Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation

Our aims and objectives

The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (PPBF) supports families across the Bailiwick of Guernsey who are facing the challenges of a premature or unwell baby, or a critically ill child. The charity provides compassionate housing next to Southampton Hospital for off-island referrals, raises funds to equip the Princess Elizabeth Hospital with specialist neonatal equipment, and offers financial, emotional and practical assistance when it is most needed. The PPBF’s ultimate aim is to ease suffering during difficult times while helping to keep families together.

Organisation and management

Founded in 2003 by Jo Priaulx MBE and Andy Priaulx MBE, the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (PPBF) is overseen by a dedicated Board of Trustees who are responsible for governance, strategic direction and financial stewardship. Day-to-day operations are managed by a small team of staff who coordinate property management, fundraising initiatives and community engagement. The charity is also supported by its Patron, Madam Deputy Bailiff Jessica Roland, along with a number of Ambassadors and volunteers who play an important role in furthering the PPBF’s mission.
